3RD QUARTER 2009

  • In June 2009, we completed the luxurious “Seabourn Odyssey" New Build in Genoa, Italy c/o the Mariotti shipyard. We were thrilled that our customer “The Yachts of Seabourn” (www.seabourn.com) was selected by Condé Nast Traveler as the Best Small-Ship Cruise Line in their annual Readers’ Choice Awards last fall.  And now, Travel + Leisure magazine has released the results of their 14th annual World’s Best survey and their readers have again voted “The Yachts of Seabourn” the World’s Best Small-Ship Cruise Line. The best news, in a way, is that these votes of confidence are the results of cruise experiences before Seabourn Odyssey even joined the fleet. She is more than just Seabourn's newest ship, Seabourn Odyssey is an evolution of the standard ultra-luxury cruising that has become synonymous with Seabourn yachting life!
  • By our reputation and attention to detail we have earned our newest contract, the Norwegian Epic New Build, in September 2009. Cruises Logistic, with the support of its European partner Italian Seaways, will take care of the global logistics of any equipment needed during construction of the huge NCL Epic  (www.epic.ncl.com) in Saint-Nazaire shipyard, France. At 1,080 feet long and 153,000 tons, the ship will hold over 4,200 passengers and will be the largest cruise ship in the world ever built by NCL to date. Features include an ice bar, an Aqua Park with water slides, and Blue Man Group performances. The Epic will be launched in May 2010 and will sail year-round to the Caribbean, making the Port of Miami its home. We are extremely proud to handle this challenging project!!!!!!
  • We are approaching the end of the “Carnival Dream”   New Build project (www.carnival.com). The new 130,000-ton Carnival Dream, the largest Carnival ship ever constructed, is slated to debut September 21, 2009, operating a diverse inaugural schedule that features visits to European and Caribbean destinations. Currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, the 3,646-passenger, 1,004-foot SuperLiner will be a new class of vessel for Carnival. Carnival Dream will also take the traditional cruise-ship promenade to new heights with a half-mile, open-air promenade encircling the ship.
  • As far as dry dock projects are concerned, all stops have been pulled for the preparation of logistics and worldwide shipping of all technical goods for the Carnival Ecstasy refurbishment to be performed in Freeport, Bahamas from Sept.19th to October 16th. Our on-board dry dock team will join the Ship in Galveston on the 19th of September to embark in this logistic adventure!
